Stu, I am not sure that it would make any difference. All/most Modern DVD Players will handle both NTSC and PAL without problem. Mine will, DG

Ctrl + Mouse Wheel? http://docs.picturestoexe.com/en/hotkeys/main DG

You could check the ISO in media player classic home cinema? DG

You have been making Executable Files for PC. The File you downloaded was a "Safe Executable for Internet". It is another option in Publish. It should not affect the current problem. DG

Updated FLASH - Still the same. DG

Raymond, Have you tried a different file to upload? DG

Slideshowclub Upload Instructions updated. http://docs.picturestoexe.com/en/slideshowsclub/main#upload_instructions DG

Just tried again. Advanced works - Basic does not. DG
-
There seems to be no one set of symptoms - it varies between users. On a Vista laptop using Firefox and advanced mode I uploaded a test for Igor last evening and sent an image to him. Using basic mode I could not complete the processes for SSC and MPs. DG

Barry, Which browser? Advanced Mode or basic? The exact same problem exists when attaching a file to a PM. Firefox and Basic Mode don't work here. I tried test files last evening: Fire Fox and advanced - OK. Firefox and Basic - no progress bar - file does not upload. That applies to both SSC and PM. DG
-
Raymond, Advanced Uploader works here. Basic Uploader does not work. Same applies to adding a file to a PM. DG

Stu, That works fine! DG

J-C, How would this affect "Synch Slides and Music"? If there were a Hyperlink from a "Dummy First Title Slide" to the actual "normal" show this would allow normal operation of the actual show. DG

Just to re-inforce what Peter said: Publish > HD Video > HD (1920x1080) Preset > Medium or High Quality works fine on any Sony TV with a USB Socket and Media Player. DG

What am I doing wrong? Pictures go all funny/useless

Post a single image which shows the problem in PTE. Max size 3Mb. Use Full Editor to select the file. DG -
If you are trying to play the mp4 file from a memory key plugged into the usb input on the hdtv then the media player in the tv is used. Explain how you are doing this? DG

Tom, Thanks for taking the time to confirm what I think. Unless someone else comes up with an answer it looks to be "impossible"? Pity, it would complete the "trilogy" of Fit to slide Cover slide Original size Dg

Hi Tom, Sorry, at this end it is turning a 2100x1500 image into a 2133.333x1523.81 image and the Original Mode shows 101.587 (Zoom Value 208.333). I suspect that your style is trying to apply YOUR original image res to my Image. Explain how you set up the image prior to making the style? What Did you try to apply it to multiple images of differing resolutions in multiples slides? ......and are you using 8.0.4? DG
-
I have been trying to create a Style which will convert main images of different resolutions in multiple slides to "Actual Pixels". There seems to be no way of doing this. I add an image to the slide list. I set Original Mode in Size/Position.... etc I click on Size and get the 100% (probably based on the original resolution) I create the style and apply it to multiple slides containing images of a different resolutions The style applies the resolution of the original image to the new slide/images Has anyone got a methodology for doing this? To prevent misunderstanding can you support your proposal with a style? DG

I have just been trying MP4 on my new(ish) Kindle Fire using GoodPlayer. I get a warning every time I open the file that MP4's of <2Gb will not play, even though the file is only 200Mb. They eventually play very well!! Nothing to do with ISO files but interesting. DG

Having a thorough knowledge of Aspect Ratio also helps? 4x3 AR = 4 squares by 3 squares 3x2 AR = 3 squares by 2 squares 5x4 AR = 5 squares by 4 squares Etc ....and multiples thereof....... DG
