  1. As I tried to say - this forum and section is for discussing slideshows not politics. Mickp
  2. I too was a bit confused with your post. The comments were very fair and if I had added one it would have been to praise your excellent photography and your presentation. It obviously had a political slant and let me say that there are many in the UK who would sympathy with your views but perhaps this Forum is not a place to go too deeply into that. Mickp
  3. Search in Slideshow Club, top left second one in. Beechbrook is no longer in operation. Mickp
  4. Called up one of Maureen's (Lakelandlass) shows and got the same result with the following in the address bar:- http://www.slideshowclub.com/profile/36-lakelandlass/content/?controller=members&type=downloads_file Tried copying and pasting this elsewhere but still did not work. Looking at your links and mine obviously something wrong with the layout but why should they be different? Mickp
  5. Does not work for me. Windows10/Chrome. Error message "Page Does Not Exist. Error Code 2S100/1" Mickp
  6. Hi Mark, I guess everybody is too involved with V9 Beta to respond to you A/V. Not that I can add too much but I thought the photography was well up to or exceeding your usual excellent standard making me really want to visit Iceland. The show itself I found a bit bitty jumping from waterfall to mountains and back to waterfalls several times plus the various different techniques in shooting he waterfalls seemed to break the harmony. The dreaded mini-zooms were there again and I guess that is ingrained into your technique and I note more and more people are doing it. I just wish someone would tell me the reasoning behind it as I just find it distracting. I hope you get some more comments and look forward to revised versions. Mickp
  7. Hi Barry, Installed CC2015.5 and strangely my AVG flaged up some files when launching PS (similar to when I clicked on your link). It seems to have sorted it out now and the Content Aware Crop looks very useful. Thanks for the pointer. Mickp
  8. Hi Barry, When un-zipping you video application my AVG virus protection flags an "Adware Generic6.BSI" infection. Removed now but not opened you video. Mickp
  9. Hi John, Thanks for your comments on St Mark’s. I did research some other versions of Music of the Night but they were all vocal, big band or solo violin/piano and I didn’t think they went well with the shots of the 6 piece bands that were playing in the square. Also, the tempo of music seemed to harmonise very well with the shots I had taken and the mood I wanted. The wet areas in the square were caused by some slight flooding and had I thought before I left that this might have happened, I would have found room for my tripod and my Zoom recorder. As it is the show will give me very pleasant memories of magical evenings in the square. Thanks again. Mick.
  10. Memories of another visit to Venice. For photo experts - sorry I could not pack my tripod, so hand held at 3200-6400 iso; 1/15 - 1/30 shutter speed and wide open at F4. For audio experts, sorry recorded on my iphone. For Photoshop experts - I did what I could but don't look too closely. Having said that i hope you enjoy. On Slideshowclub.
  11. Hi Mark, Guess it is disappointing for you not to have more feedback especially as previous shows have bought much more response, which I think you found very useful. The Forum seems to be in the doldrums at the moment and even Yachtsman has not replied - what's going on? Perhaps our Moderators can instil some life. Mickp.
  12. Thanks for that but not sure I can think I will need to do it in any of my shows but understand what Gogs wants now. Mickp
  13. Hi Mark, I think for the purposes of comments it would be a good idea to include the Navigation Bar so we can identify particular areas of the show. One point on first viewing is it might help in keeping the interest going to vary the fade times more to suit the music. In one area showing the temples a straight cut between shots might be suitable and would fit the music. Mickp.
  14. Not sure what you are controlling with the keyframes but all mine move independently. In fact I dont know a way to get them to move together but if there is maybe you have this selected by mistake. Mickp
  15. Thanks for that Lin. Works well, separately highlighting word spelt incorrectly and giving options when you click on it. Mickp
  16. Thank you all for your comments - very encouraging. Sorry about the spelling mistake. Eric. I've been shooting in 3:2 since the year dot and find it difficult to compose in camera with a view to making it 16:9 later. I think your camera has multi A/R screens to select from but my SLR does not. Even so I think for this show the 3:2 works better for me. Thanks also for comment on Greenwich. Mickp
  17. Good point, Lin. I guess I will have to improve my spelling! Mickp
  18. This would help me - see my Aylesford Priory A/V on SSC. Mickp
  19. Given the very long time it is taking for version 9 to be released then as MASRAWY suggests a period of grace should be allowed so that people can upgrade to PTE8 and not be out of pocket if they then upgrade to PTE9 in a few months.
  20. I am not in the least religious but do appreciate church music, church art and church architecture and have combined these in a show which is appropriate for today, Good Friday. It's on Slideshow Club. Have a Happy Easter. Mickp
  21. Well done, Eric. I thought it could be done but had forgotten how to do it. Mickp
  22. I am working on a rather long slide in O & A containing a number of objects which need to blend with each other via Key Frames towards the end of the slide. As this needs a number of trial and error adjustments of the Key Frames, is there a way of playing just that section rather than playing from the start of the slide. Manual movement of the cursor does not help. Mickp
  23. A day trip to Greenwich (or several days actually) is on Slideshow Club. Comments and advice always welcome. Mickp.
