  1. Gary, Normally this problem should not occur when you install updated version 8.0.4 over 8.0.x. Since version 8.0 the information about selected folders for projects is stored in a special location: C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\PicturesToExe\ProjectsExtraData\This problem might occur in two cases: A. if you uninstalled previous version 8.0.3 and there were no other installed versions of PicturesToExe. In this case the uninstaller removes all information related with settings of PicturesToExe. B. You moved project files to another locations.
  2. Hello, I apologize for this problem! Your order was processed successfully. Email with your license key and instruction should be sent to your email address immediately after purchasing. I just sent you a copy of that email.
  3. Hello Keith, I convert my JPEG image file in FastStone Viewer and it works correctly in PicturesToExe. Please can you send me two files - original image file and converted file which looks wrongly. You can upload file to Mediafire.com or Dropbox.com
  4. The next version will contain the completely new Objects and Animation editor. At this moment I can't say exactly what new functions it will include.

    Question

Eric, (I moved your question from "PicturesToExe Online Help" topic to this new topic.) Several days ago I reorganized a structure of WnSoft forum. Some sections were combined into one section. Several sections were renamed. The new section "Troubleshooting" was created. "Frequently Asked Questions" section always was pre-moderated. Now I did same for "Tutorials & Articles" section. I moved many old articles from these both sections to a special archive here as you can see. This work is not finished yet, and I'll continue to review existing articles. I didn't watch your video tutorials earlier, and I reviewed them several days ago. I appreciate your time which you spent to create these tutorials, but I think that their level is not enough to be published in the new "Tutorials..." section. Sorry. Old Tutorials section has become a big old dump where it is difficult to find useful information among the old and new articles of different levels of quality. All new tutorials, especially video tutorials should be professionally created in all aspects. I want to control quality of new tutorials.
  7. Thanks for your responses!

  9. Ken, It's not related with the new structure of the forum. It happened when we updated the forum software to the latest version (IPB 3.4.6)
  10. Eric, In next or future versions we plan to rewrite video convertor and we'll rework this function.
  11. Hi, Do you like the new structure of the forum?
  12. Eric, I tested in PicturesToExe 8 and 7.5. In both versions the converted file contains word ".converted.avi". If you convert original video file again, PicturesToExe automatically replaces the previously converted file. No multiple words ".converted".
  13. Peter, Thanks, I confirm this bug! We'll try to fix it. I don't know how much time it will take, because this code is responsible for many commands and we need be careful with the solution.
  14. OK! I'll check up again tomorrow.
  15. Eric, I'll check up tomorrow.
  16. Peter, Can I mark this topic as solved?
  17. Barry, Thanks, I just fixed this problem, please try this test version: http://www.wnsoft.com/files/test/picturestoexe-setup-804-beta.exe It will become official v8.0.4 later, with other possible bug-fixes.
  18. Peter, Sorry, my mistake. It should be OK now.
  19. New section "Troubleshooting" is created. It's intended for bug-reports. Old sub-forums "PicturesToExe & Mac" and "Video Output" were deleted. All their posts were moved to the "General Discussion" and "Troubleshooting" sections.
  20. I reworked the structure of the forum today. Some sections were renamed and their order has been changed.

  23. We're reworking video output in future PicturesToExe now. Currently AVI video output suggests 3 options. By default, PicturesToExe creates AVI video file with MPEG-SP codec - no changes here. I have two questions regarding other modes: 1. Do you create Virtual AVI video file? This old function allows to tranfer video stream from PicturesToExe to an external video editing software for further processing/encoding. Can we remove it? 2. Do you create AVI video file with custom video/audio codecs installed in Windows? Can we remove it? P.S. The new video output will work more reliable, and this code will be used in Mac version in future. We'd like to discard old rarely used options which difficult to rewrite.
