  1. Carmelo, Dave, Thanks!
  2. Thanks, Mark, There is also unofficial trick to run "Safe executable shows for PC" on Mac: 1. Create a new short test show for Mac (*.app folder) 2. Delete slideshow.dat file from *.app folder. 3. Rename Yourshow.ptshow file (from PC show) to slideshow.dat 4. Copy slideshow.dat file to .app folder (YourMacShow.app\Contents\Resources\slideshow.dat). 5. Run YourMacShow on Mac. It will work fine if both shows (safe executable file for PC and Mac show) are created in one version of PicturesToExe. This trick valid for PicturesToExe shows 6.0+ P.S. I didn't test, but probably you can even rename PC .exe files to slideshow.dat to run on Mac as described above.
  3. Mick, We published the updated version 8.0.6 which solves issues with playback of recorded DVDs on some DVD players. I received 5 reports on this problem when certain Toshiba and Sony DVD players didn't recognize DVD discs. The problem didn't happen on other models of these brands. With new the updated version 8.0.6 this problem should not happen anymore.

Peter, Well, it's acceptable for PicturesToExe itself. But what to do with EXE shows?

Tom, It's Z-sorting. DirectX 3D can't perform sorting for semi-transparent surfaces (text labels, PNGs). As I know only in DirectX 11 we can implement Z-sorting. However it will limit PicturesToExe only for Windows Vista/7/8 and will require the latest video cards (2010+).
  6. Eric, Thanks, we'll try to implement choice of color
  7. Mick, Thanks, I'll wait.

Hi Mur, We plan to add geometric transformations of objects in future versions. This is not strict promise, but I also want to implement this feature.
  9. Hi Mike, We replied on your question 6 hours ago. Please see your email box.
  10. Mick, Please try a special version of PicturesToExe Deluxe. Probably it will fix issues with playback of burned DVD discs: www.wnsoft.com/files/test/picturestoexe-setup-806.exe Please let me know about result. Thanks in advance!
  11. Many thanks to Bill Hines for his amazing work on Beechbrook gallery!
  12. Hi, We opened the archive of all slideshows from Beechbrook.com/pte http://archive.slideshowclub.com/ 521 shows created in PicturesToExe since 2004. 17 GB of files.
  13. Eric, In future version 8.5 we completely reworked this window. And it will show correctly "Customize" checkbox at 150% scale. In current version it's difficult to fix it, because it was a simple patch for the old code.
  14. Hi Tom, If you use Google 2-Step Verification (which is very recommended) try to create a new password for applications and use it for YouTube uploading in PTE. Will it help? http://www.google.com/landing/2step/
  15. Hi Tom, Sorry, I but couldn't reproduce that problem. I successfully uploaded my test show at 1080p quality to YouTube. Then I uploaded your project to YouTube from PicturesToExe. No problem. See the attached screenshots. Please try upload another test show (say 3 images).
  16. Hi Lin, Thanks for this idea!
  17. Eric, What value of display scaling you choosed in Windows? It looks as 150% or more.
  18. To all, Please send me news related with PicturesToExe by PM. I'll post them on Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/picturestoexe
  19. Dave, Yes, I added this link a week ago
  20. Jean-Cyprien, Yes, the format of time values is incorrect in this .pte project file. Did you use external programs to edit this project file?
  21. Thanks for the file! We'll try to find a reason of this interesting problem.
  22. Lin, Thanks, I'll see how to add a new link to this page. To all: I just posted a new short message here
  23. Hi Jean-Cyprien, Please send me a test project where I can see this problem.
  24. Hi Peter, Try to use "Pan Z" parameter in "3D parameters" window. I think it should give the result which you need. "Perspective correction for zoom" simulates what can be done with "Pan Z". You can apply "Pan Z" parameters for two key frames of each image object.
