Kieron, Thanks for your impressions on version 11.0! Honestly, the difference in speed of video encoding should not be so large between versions 10.5 and 11.0 We really, optimized transfering of video frames from PTE to a hardware video encoder, but a difference should be around 10%, depending on graphics card. I guess that the most likely you had Motion Blur option turned on in the previous version. See parameters of video encoding window.

Denis, Increasing Strength parameter in the Mask container adds more "3D volume" for the Displacement Map. Also if you use any converter from a height map to a normal map (for PTE), it usually offers additional strength parameter. For example: https://cpetry.github.io/NormalMap-Online/

Hi, Please do the following to fix this problem on your Mac: 1. Close PTE AV Studio in the Dock. 2. Download the uninstaller of PTE AV Studio for Mac. Unpack and run it. Tick only one option 'Reset PTE AV Studio configuration'. Confirm the uinstallation. Close this utility. 3. Run PTE AV Studio.

Denis, you need to apply a Gaussian blur for a normal map image in a photo editor. It will eliminate these artefacts (pixelization?) : When you convert a height map to a normal map, it necessary to apply some smoothing (bluring).

Hi Alex, Thanks for your impressions about the new PTE AV Studio 11 ! Can you tell me in more details about improved performance? Do you mean video encoding, or playback of fullscreen preview/EXE shows? In version 11.0 we now use Direct3D 11/12 rendering.

Hi, PTE AV Studio 11 offers an useful command: Export Slides to Images. It allows you export one or several slides as a series of images in JPEG or PNG format. With a desired pixel resolution. If you choose a PNG format, it's possible export a slide with a transparent background. See the main menu > Publish > Export Slides to Images. Or click right mouse button in the Slide / Timeline view and choose Export Slides to Images. "Current position" options means a time point selected in the Timeline view.
