You can slow down to as much as 10% but it may stutter a bit if that low. You can tell by the Duration how much it has slowed it down. So for a 1 minute video - slowed to 50% would give you a duration of 2 minutes. It depends on the content as to how it looks. Jill

If you are using the adust time feature in O&A to change the speed of the video, then the sound is automatically muted when the speed is not 100. If you still want the sound from the video, then in timeline, right click the video and select separate sound from video. This will put the sound on a separate track, where you can adjust the length and volume. Jill

Looks like you have been sent the wrong Connector as Part 3 seems to have round pins & Part 2 has square sockets. But it also looks like a standard USB cable connecting the camera to the Charger. So if you have a socket with a USB connection you could just plug straight into that. Or it may charge from the USB socket on your computer, but would most likely take a lot longer. But if your adapter is working then stick with that. Jill

WeTransfer is free for up to 2GB & you can send exe's via it. We use it all the time for competition entries. The recipient gets an email with the Link to download & you get an email back once they have downloaded it. The files only stay there for 7 days, so no problems making sure you have enough space. You can't send exe by email & most email clients have a limit of 10mb. Jill

PTE can take in MP4 files with Transparent background, but only certain ones. Da Vinci is very heavy on resources & most things can be done more easily in PTE, at least that is what I find. I do all of my video editing in PTE. Jill

I always do 60p & make AV's that have long transitions and quick ones & include Video. I find 60p smoother for all. Igor recommends 60p Jill

If you look at Project Options/Screen you will see there is an option to add a Watermark Simply create an image that has your Logo/text - you can do this as a separate Project in PTE & the save that image as a png. You then add this image as a Watermark & it will appear on every Slide. Jill

Rosy, if the Nikon has a digital viewfinder rather than optical, check that you can actually see it clearly first. I know your eyesight isn't the best, I am the same & when I looked at Nikon (having been a Nikon SLR & DSLR user for about 30 years) I found that I couldn't see the image in the viewfinder clearly. The only camera I could see at the time I bought my last one was a Panasonic. This was several years ago & things no doubt have changed. Jill

Jane & Igor, I have installed 11.0.9 & tried out some of the Transitions such as Slide, Dissolve with Blur, 3D Cube etc on a new project. Windows 10 with the latest updates. All seem to work OK, I have saved & reopened the Project several times. Also moved slides around & changed Transitions back to Dissolve then back to those below the Displacement Map ones. No problems at all. Jane did you have your Project open when Windows updated? Not that I can see how it would have caused this problem. Jill

Yes it will do. Another way is to rename the Take7a to something like Take7aOld or move it to different folder so that PTE not find it & will say there is a missing file. You then point it to the replacement File Take8a & it will replace all the files in one go. Jill

Hi Mike, I said to save it as the same name. Your existing file is Take7a so save the re-equalised file as Take7a. Jill

Hi Mike, PTE does not physically edit the File, all changes are virtual. Simply equalise your existing File in Audacity and save it as the same name. (make a copy first just in case) Next Time you open PTE it will pick up the new equalised version & all of the edits done in PTE will still apply. Jill

I had the Windows 10 update yesterday, but I am still using 11.0.3. As far as I know I haven't had any problems, but then I rarely use transitions other than Dissolve, Shapes & Page. Will try to do some tests tomorrow & will install 11.0.9 as a separate version. Jill

In O&A Properties tab, select Offset (just under Adjust Time Range) & enter the time you want to pause it for. So if you want the pause to be 2 secs then enter 0:02.000 As you have found making the Slide time longer than the duration of the video gives you the pause at the end, just remember to add in the extra time for the start. Rosy, you will notice that it is linked to the Slide, so will move with the Slide & keep lip sync. If in Settings/Preferences/Timeline you switch the Waveform to 'mixed channels' you may find it easier to see the waveform for adjustments. Jill

Easy in PTE - In Timeline, right click the video & select 'separate audio from video' You will then see the Audio track underneath & you can adjust the volume Jill

I thought that NOTTA would do this. - you need the Vocal Remover, not the Speech to Text It splits the file into the component parts, so you will end up with a music track & a voice track. See https://www.notta.ai/en/tools/online-vocal-remover Jill

If you click on an image (Slide) in the Slide List & then click Objects & Animation you can adjust the size & position of the image. You will see in the preview window that the image has grab handles around it. Just drag these with your mouse to get the appearance you want. If you are enlarging the image it is best to make sure it has enough pixels to do this, but PTE does a brilliant job of displaying them whatever size. It is an excellent piece of software, very simple to use but also extremely powerful once you get to grips with it. Enjoy Jill

Are you using Multiple Tracks? If so then then the Delete Track 'x' will just delete that Track. If you have multiple Clips on one Track, then just select the Clip (click it) and then press the Deelete Key on your keyboard. That will just delete that Clip Jill

the number is determined on the Slide position within the Slide List. So if you export Slide 20 it will be called Slide20 You can change the prefix to something else but the number is fixed Jill
