  1. Well done, Mur, congratulations ! PTE is limited only by our imagination. Bravo.
  2. I think that it's still necessary, if you use texts (created by PTE) with "exotic" fonts, to drag the font files in the zip for the other party IF he don't own these particular fonts --- or you must tick the "Rasterize text to png image" (in Properties tab)
  3. Bravo und vielen Dank für diese vollständige Analyse von PTE. Ich denke auch, daß der flüssige Zustand gut verbessert wird, wenn Masken benutzt sind. Grüße aus Fontainebleau
  4. A very big and useful work !! Quite impressive. Thanks a lot, Dave, Jeff and Lin - and Igor !
  5. Thank you, Lin, Mickp, PGA and Igor for your very kind answers. Thank you too, Lin, for the example put in the forum. And thank you Igor for your suggestion. I'll have a look to see what could be done. Before the style is applied, it is possible to change easily the speed. I agree the length of the AV is a little bit tedious, and thus seems too slow and too long. This example shows how the styles are powerful, and easy to use. Thanks Igor and your team for this !
  6. Please be very patient ! Open a new project in 16/9 Put a 16/9 picture which will be seen in the background. This is the first view. Put six square pictures in six views (for example 600x600 pixels). The seven pictures must be "Main object" Select the seven views, apply the style RubikCubeV1 ... You'll obtain a big project of 25 views, so be patient, PTE has to work very hard. Even by doing the exe file (depending of your computer). But this exe file is quick to open and run (1min 30s). Inserted in the zip file are the ptestyle file and a very detailed instruction set for the beginners... but in French ! It was possible to do same Rubik's cubes with the 6.0 version (Isn't it Peter, and Lin ?! ) but not so easy for everyone with the style ! Jean-Cyprien RubikCubeV1.zip
  7. After a style has been applied, PTE doesn't need the procedure to do the style, but it still possibly needs files of image, sound, video... As noted by Igor, problems will arise if the style file is written several times. Up to now, it was possible to have in a zip file ( "Create Backup in zip" ) or a .pt file ( "Create template from this Show" ) all the files necessary to make a .exe file, years after the creation, or by an other user (for correction, review...). Except the special text fonts, as Wnsoft has no rights to them. To create this two files, PTE will look in differents repertories to find the differents files, and re-copy all of them. The idea is to copy the necessary files from the style file to the zip and the .pt files. Today, when we open a .pte file from a .pt file in a certain directory, PTE search in this directory if the path of the project is no more correct. Is it not possible to do the same with the style files ?
  8. Bravo ! Congratulations to you, Igor and to your team. A great gift to entrust to Santa Claus care. Thanks !
  9. Wonderful trip, Denis ! Do you know if Santa Claus takes passengers - for us, as well-behaved (old !)children ? Saturn is magnificient !
  10. Goog idea, and very nice achievement ! Bravo
  11. I give this my support, too. Once more . See for example : and read at the end
  12. After having made and saved a complicated transition, we are able to edit the .ptef file and modify the transition. Then, we can SAVE it. Is it possible to add a button " SAVE AS " to create a NEW transition file (with the modifications) instead of just replace the previous one ? Thanks - Jean-Cyprien
  13. 1 - When we use the circle shape, with the Gate Standard Transition, it is possible to change the center of this circle. Could it be possible to do the same modifications with the diamond and the rectangle transtions ? 2 - In the same spirit, could it be possible to changes the position of the Gates ? Thanks Jean-Cyprien
  14. You are right, Peter, it was our first thought. ( I'm used to clean the files of the O&A window at the end of my work.) However the suggestion of Igor is an interesting one, if you are in a hurry. So, first, it should work in the O&A editor (always). With Peter' suggestion about the parent/children behaviour. 2 - If possible, it should work in the real presentation too (preview and EXE). In that case, it'll never be possible to use the hiden image (or video) files of the EXE file, so those files are not to be included in the EXE file. Jean-Cyprien
  15. Hi Peter, Thank you Peter ! Of course your amendment would be a very useful one. I agree. Best regards Jean-Cyprien
  16. " By the way, digital video is a sequence of frames, ... and they can be played in reverse " Yes, so you can make a mp4 file (= video file), and use it as you want. But I believe it's not possible with a exe file, where the pictures are calculated at each time with certain kinds of orders.
  17. Sometimes when we work with several PTE objects - at roughly the same time - using keypoints (PRZ or opacity), we would like to be able to work only on some specific objects, and ignore the other, by not seeing them. Similarly, to compare two (or more) different ways of animation, we use several copies of the same object, with different solutions (PRZ, opacity, position of the keypoints...). But only one object must be visible. Currently it is possible - but not always - to use the box "Show front side" of the "3D parameters" window. But this window is visible only for one object at the same time. Would it be possible to have a box before the name of each object, which would allow us to hide or see this object, in the same way as it is possible to do it with the layers in Photoshop ? To hide or see every object would be very fast, and we could permanently know which are the visible (or not) objects. Thanks in advance
  18. Hi Claudio,

Even if your hexagon is not perfect (top and bottom), you can make the six faces of your prism with a perfect acuracy

  19. Hi Anthony,

Here you'll find the template of the view N°6 of my AV. Just for you, to be able to see the O&A window :

  20. Thank you so much for your kind compliment, Dave, Yachtsman1, Dick, Lin, Bert, Mickp, Tom and Mary. I'm pleased you not only like the "technical" part of the show, but also the moving story of this little girl. Sorry for your tears, Mary, but perhaps you give me my best reward. Thank you.
  21. Thank you very very much for your nice words. Today (12-12-2012) I've given an AV as a present, as every year for the Advent in the French forum. You'll see Orion in the sky, to remember Etienne (and a "star" above St Joseph to remember JPD) see :
