  1. Two examples of using the Shift modifier that saves A LOT of time - to write with an old typewriter - to scroll the date MACHINE_English_Aug4-2018_20-37-44.zip
  2. Thanks, Dave, You're welcome. How I hope to be more inspired (and inspiring too) !
  3. Hi jt, Having several tracks is not a problem for me, but I undestand easily your preference. That said, as you, I don't understand why it is not possible to link several files to the same slide in the timeline when at the same time, it is possible to do it in the Project options, even if it is red marked. So, I agree with your recommendation.
  4. OK, let Igor examine if it is possible to improve PTE.
  5. No problem, Dave. I'm no sure CT3 is a good example ? The whole second slides suddenly appears at 5:0. Is this what is planned ?
  6. Dave, I think your example CT2 is what Denis has already done with his third slide in CT : adding a black rectangle on the blank slide A blank slide with a black rectangle is no more a blank slide. If the box "Transparent Background of slides" is not ticked, the CT is correct with just a blank slide without a black rectangle. Jean-Cyprien
  7. Try without the box "Transparent Background of slides" checked
  8. Thank you Lin for this research and for this tutorial. And thank you especially for your courage to comment on this video. We are happy to see (hear !) that you can make yourself understood again, and hope - are sure - that much progress is still possible. Best regards, Jean-Cyprien
  9. Hi Lin, Thanks to work with my style. I hope this will be usefull for the beginners to improve their technique ! ( It's not 1 4 3 1 that needs to be put, but 1 4 2 1 Fortunately, PTE corrects you if you write 1 4 3 and when you then add 1 ) Best regards Jean-Cyprien
  10. Thanks Lin for the demo. You have a nice granddaughter not as little as you think ! Congratulations. Jean-Cyprien
  11. A big thank you for your kind comments. It will be hard to find and do something interesting next year !
  12. HI, As every year during the Advent's time, the members of the French PTE forum Diapositif.net put each day an AV as an Advent Calendar gift. Here is my own contribution for the last day, the 24th. Note that the modifiers were very often used. Merry Christmas to you all and your love ones, and my best wishes for 2018 Jean-Cyprien Advent_2017.exe
  13. A great and nice 3D Christmas tree. Thank you MUR for your good whishes. Joyeux Noël to you, too !!
  14. HI Lin, I think it is already possible to do what you mean by using the chroma keys. See for example the videos :
  15. Hi MUR, Don't imagine such things, MUR, sometimes we can't remember what we were using 50 times per day, some years ago. Don't worry ! What you do is still always amazing ! Jean-Cyprien
  16. Hi MUR, In O&A of course, button "Tools" and Key Frame Width and also Settings/Preferences/Editor Key Frames
  17. A 3.8 Gb file (without video files) successfully tested by Jean-Jacques (JJB)
  18. Hi Igor, This new version is OK for me. (And the behaviour of the indexes is correct too). Thanks, and have a good Week End !
  19. HI Igor, YES, it works as " I " expect ! That is also, as PTE8 worked, and - as you have noted - as the first versions of PTE9 worked (for exemple 9.0.5) Thanks very much ! (A lot of time saved for me !)
  20. Importance of original indexes : In the frame N°1 I have several files with the index X (for exemple the right pages of a book) In the frame N°2 I have also several files with the same index X (the left sides of the book) And also in other frames (a page moving from the right side to left side...) the same files with the index X Of course, after coying the files in a new slide, it is possible to change the files of index 1 (previously X) then those of index 2 (previously X) then 3 (previously X) with the same file (blue page, or white page, or...) but by laziness, it's easier to do this just one time with just one index : the original X index. Note that if I copy several files with the same index X, all those files will have the same new index, 7 for exemple -- BUT only for the files that were copied in just one time. If I copy later other files with the previous X index, their new index will not be the same 7, but an other one (not used previously in the new view). Because it is possible to change a file for all those which have the same index number. And this is a great possibility I use frequently !
  21. No, what I do is this : for exemple I put in a frame six pictures, with the following indexes : 1 5 7 14 17 25 (Those numbers because I have a lot of other Main objects in this slide.) After copying the frame in a blank slide, the indexes become 6 5 4 3 2 1
  22. Hi Igor, There is now indexes, yes, but not the original ones. (The new indexes are 1 2 3 4 5...)
