I apologise, Barry! Voice recording is not implemented in the Mac version of PTE AV Studio yet. We plan to add it in future. I've read about the difficulties of supporting different microphones on Mac, so I'm a little apprehensive about implementing this support. However I see that many users ask this function.

If you imported/created any custom slide styles or transitions, try to temporary remove this folder. Usually it's located here: Documents > PicturesToExe > Styles and Transitions Create a ZIP archive of "Styles and Transitions" folder and remove it. Then try to run PTE AV Studio. If it doesn't help: 2. Let me know what graphics card is installed in your computer? Try to update drivers for your graphics card (NVIDIA, AMD, or Intel). It may help. 3. Check Settings panel in Windows 10, if you enabled Controlled Folder Access mode: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/defender-endpoint/enable-controlled-folders If it's enabled, try to temporarily disable this mode, or add PTE AV Studio to the list of allowed apps. 4. Try to temporarily disable external antivirus software program (if it's not Microsoft Windows Defender).

Hi, Currently PTE AV Studio is available only for Windows and Mac. Unfortunately, Linux is not very popular among home users yet. We cannot afford to spend much time on this development. Try to set up an emulator (Wine) in Linux. Make sure that hardware acceleration for Direct3D is enabled and enough video memory (GPU memory) is allocated. Not less than 1 GB. Good luck,

Hi, Do you mean Proshow Gold (PSG) or you use PTE AV Studio? If you use PTE AV Studio, add original video files to your project, they will be converted/adapted automatically for chosen output format.

Hi Tony, I recommend to rename .bak file to .pte file extension in Finder and then open in PTE AV Studio. It's the only one solution on a Mac.

Hi Gary, If you load an old project created before V9 it doesn't have saved folder path for the File Panel. In this case, the project gets current folder displayed in the main window of PTE when you load this project for the first time in V11. Regarding recent projects saved in V10 or V11. Is there a chance that you could have opened a project and unintentionally changed the folder without even saving the project? Because it is enough to simply select another folder in the File panel and PTE automatically remembers your choice for the opened project (saving is not necessary). Honestly, I don't know another reason for this issue, it works correctly for my projects.
