  1. Ron, Does this problem occur in PTE 8? If yes, did you try PTE 9? Do you use "Run Slideshow", "Run Slideshow with Return" or "Run Application" commands to run next show? I need to see the project file of the main window (menu) to understand what exactly happens there.
  2. Hi Geoff, Any modern laptops with NVIDIA graphics are good for PTE 10. 8 GB of memory is quite enough. Any modern CPU with at least 4 cores. If you choose a laptop with 15" screen I recommend to consider a model with a fast single dedicated NVIDIA graphics (not dual graphics). For example, NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1060. It's a really good and very vast graphics which will work well with many future versions of PTE and support all effects. Also choosing a laptop with a single NVIDIA graphics you'll get an option for video encoding to MP4 with GPU acceleration (faster in 3-4 times). So if you consider lightweight 13"..14" laptops I recommend models with dual NVIDIA + Intel graphics - Geforce GTX 1050. Just see my note below. It's also fast and good video card for PTE 10. In PTE 10 we solved issues with smoothness on laptops with dual NVIDIA + Intel graphics. Dual graphics are used in majority laptops (95% of models). PTE 10 automatically uses NVIDIA graphics in these laptops. PTE 9 doesn't work well on laptops with dual graphics - you need to wait for a solution from Microsoft (it may take several months). NVIDIA recently confirmed that there is a bug in Windows 10 with performance on dual NVIDIA + Intel graphics. It's not a problem of PTE iteself. PTE 10 will work faster and smoother on same laptops than PTE 9. Even the main window works faster and smoother. Faster video encoding. We added many optimizations to PTE 10. Also when you choose any laptop, I higly recommend to make sure that display is flicker free (no PWM), you can find this info in certain reviews, for example here: https://www.notebookcheck.net/Reviews.55.0.html
  3. Hi Laszlo, I observe a pause at the end of 1st slidw when I play this EXE file. Do you mean this problem? If yes, please open the Project Options > Control tab > and untick "Wait for a key press to show next slide" option. By default, this options is turned off for new projects. MP4 video seems to be OK?
  4. Hi Laszlo, Please try to reproduce this problem with reduced project (as small as possible). And send the project files in a ZIP archive via https://send.firefox.com/ by a personal message. Thanks,
  5. Hi Ron, I'm not sure that I rightly understood your question. In all versions a fullscreen preview starts when you click left mouse on the Preview button and then release the mouse button.
  6. Next Beta 11 tomorrow will include 64-bit EXE shows and fullscreen preview. PTE 10 will be 100% 64-bit app. Also system memory usage will be reduced on 20..30%
  7. Hi, Yes, just price difference + 2 USD (due to extra payment processing)
  8. I just received a message from NVIDIA representative regarding this problem with a slow performance of PTE 9 on laptops with dual NVIDIA + Intel graphics (also same problem occurs with Proshow products): Anyway, in PTE 10 Beta we used a temporary solution to avoid this problem (it was a hard work).
  9. Hi Jean-Cyprien, Thanks, you're right. Today - 20 years of PicturesToExe
  10. We're working on next Beta 11 with large improvements.
  11. Lin, Using of Motion Blur adds unusual result
  12. Does anybody already tried to use PTE 10 Beta for real projects?
  13. We fixed it in Beta 8. We're not ready change it in PTE 10. Sorry.
  14. Lin, Can you tell in more details?
  15. Hi, Read this announcement: https://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/topic/21388-for-owners-of-laptops-with-nvidia-graphics-on-windows-10/ PTE 10 Beta fixes this problem with Windows 10 v1803, 1809, or 1903.
  16. Gary, We'll add this feature later.
  17. Please read my message here: https://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/topic/21388-for-owners-of-laptops-with-nvidia-graphics-on-windows-10/ We found a solution for this problem in PTE 10 Beta.
  18. Dave, Yes, we plan to add powerful text effects in PTE 11.
  19. Hi, Not in PTE 10. Sorry. We have a lot of work with existing planned features (64-bit, Dark mode, new faster video decoders/encoders, Mac version, etc). P.S. I moved your question to "Suggestions for future versions" section.
  20. Hi, Please post your impressions about PTE 10 Beta. We need to know your opinion. What you think about Dark mode, 64-bit. Did you notice more smooth and fast work of the interface in the main window of PTE?
  21. Thanks, Dave
  22. I recently updated my two desktop computers to Windows 10 May 2019 Update and both versions - PicturesToExe 9.0.22 and PicturesToExe 10 Beta work fine.
  23. Hi, If you plan to install Windows 10 May 2019 Update (v1903), please make sure that you installed the latest version of PicturesToExe 9.0.22: https://www.wnsoft.com/en/picturestoexe/download/ If you have any previous version (9.0.21 or earlier) you may see an error message when you run PicturesToExe (main window). EXE shows created in any versions are NOT affected. The new version 9.0.22 which was published several months ago fixes this problem. PicturesToExe 8.0.x is not affected at all.
  24. Encoding of 4K video is working near to limit of 32-bit app. Usually it should work, but in some kind of scenes (or too heavy images) PTE will reach out of memory. I recommend to wait for PTE 10 Beta which is 64-bit. We'll publish first Beta within 2 weeks.
