  1. Thanks Igor, It's clear. I suggest (some months ago) that we can loop a video like animated Gif. It would be really useful. Denis
  2. Hi, It seems that the maximum number of images of an animated gif is 48 or 50. Is it correct ? Denis
  3. hi, when you drag and drop (slides or timeline) an animated gif, It is transformed to a video. In O&A it's Ok
  4. It doesn't matter, but look at the figure: the same points Volume of 10% is equivalent to -20 dB So may be the whole numbers for "volume percentage" are only round numbers of fraction
  5. dB=20*log(Volume/100) It's the value (Integer 16 bits I think) which is registered not %
  6. Hi, I agree. I don't use the blur actually. I would like to get the Blur like Gaussian Blur in The Gimp with no transparency. Denis
  7. Hello, I agree with Barry, It's not easy actually to set the value.
  8. Hi Gary, when you use Video Converter, you can change the quality setting. A quality of 0 and the bit rate is not far from 5000kbps Denis
  9. Hi Gary, PTE manage mp4 video if you have a powerful PC or in my case, when you don't want an exe but only an mp4 for the slideshow. In this case, I know that the preview is not fluid, but the slideshow (mp4 video) is very good. (why converting twice a video if converting only once is enough) Denis
  10. Hi Gary, PTE understand AAC, but I only try, without problem MP4 video (with h.264 codec) and AAC ot AC3 sound codec. Of course, it is necessary to put the video (for the sound) by project option, Audio and add audio file. As Lin wrote PTE doesn't recognize AAC audio clip like .m4a Denis
  11. Hi, The problem could be: -the name of some audio clip ; try to use only ASCII character, -the content of some audio clip ; try to re-encode it. Denis
  12. Hello, I think it's not a bug try to tick "Main Object" for your image and it will be recognized when applying a style Denis
  13. Hi Igor, I put my mp4 (34) on an usb key and read them on Blu-ray disc player. No problem with the sound. I try to extract the aac sound from the video (audacity and ffmpeg) and see nothing on the wave. Denis
  14. Hi, the shape transition is no correct: there is a jump at the end of the transition. Denis shape_transition.zip
  15. It seems "normal" that he UHD look better. You can try a simple test: take a photo 3840x2160 and save it with a poor quality (4.2.0 and 10% or 20% quality) photo1 from the original transform it in 1920x1080 ans save it with the same poor quality (4.2.0 and 10% or 20% quality) photo2 The compare photo1 transform in 1920x1080 and photo2, you will see that photo1 is better Denis
  16. Hi, for me it works well, but I have not an UHD TV. And I think it's a great news for PTE9. Denis
  17. Thanks Igor, I will try to use only Pan Z if the gif picture was centered, it would be easy, but it is not centered Denis
  18. Hi, a custom transition made in PTE8 works well, but when it is opened in PTE9, it doesn't look the same. Denis sidobre_Mar14-2017_16-03-18.zip
  19. For PTE8, with http://www.diapositif.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=56&t=35945 an object can follow a Bezier curve
  20. Hi, When I extract pictures from mP4 videos, and compare with the original picture, PTE9 mp4 is better than PTE8 mp4 and closer to the original picture. Looking on my TV, the difference is not very important, but I can see it. So, I shall use PTE9 to make again the videos I look on my TV. Denis
  21. Hi Mur, Look at the tutorial from Jean-Cyprien http://diapositif.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=36573 Denis
  22. Hi, http://www.diapositif.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=56&t=35945 to get BezierPTE Denis
  23. Hi, may be in two steps: -Use GeoSetter to automatically add the place name in the IPTC data. -Use PTE and add this IPTC Name. Denis
  24. Hello, In PTE 8, you can manage UHD video and make 1080p HD MP4. But May be it is a problem of video codec. ( h264 works, but not h265). The rendering time depend of your PC. With my old PC, it is about 5 or 6 times the length of the slideshow
