Nice job Dave. when I make Custom Transitions, I try to make them compatible with different aspect ratio. I put a slide1 or slide2 with opacity=0 as the parent of the mask container. Hi, you can add a video as an audio track: project options >> Audio >> add audio file an select video files But if you don't have a video in your project, the exe has no sound. You must have a video in your project to ear the sound in the exe. May be when we add a sound from a video, the ffmpeg.dll should be include in the exe. Denis

I know with PTE9 I can use rectangles, but I made these kind of Custom transitions 4 years ago with PTE8 The complete transition is a gates and page and you can change the position of the beginning, or the end and the angle of the transition. Hi, we observe some problem during some customs transitions on laptops with Intel and Nvidia graphic cards. The custom transition is not correct. If we right+click and select Nvidia card, the slideshow is good. If, like a "Normal user", we just double+click on the exe, the custom transition is different and not correct. This occur on exe made some years ago with PTE8 and recent exe made with PTE9, but only with custom transitions including file. Maybe it is possible that the exe first tell the graphic card driver to use Nvidia card and not Intel graphic card (https://developer.nvidia.com/optimus) Denis

I have the same behaviour on my Sony TV and not on my Blu-Ray disk (video on a USB key) One workaround: • Make your MP4 with the maximum quality • put this video on a new PTE project and don't optimize it • in O&A set the zoom to the good value (for me it is 95%) • make another mp4 with the quality you want. FLAC vs WAV ; they are lossless, but flac is compressed. For the same audio: flac 19132 ko wav 46735 ko AAC (m4a) vs mp3. The quality is better for AAC with the same bitrate. if you want the audio of a Youtube video, you can get the AAC directly

Hi Gary, - put your mp4 video in a new project "use original file" don't optimize it - go to slide option >> transition >> Quick transition - in O&A rotate 180 - Properties you can "Adjust time range" if needed - you can use "color correction" if you need - close O&A - "Publish>> avi file... or F7 - Select the quality and you will get an avi file you can put in your PTE project. It is suitable for PTE. Denis
