  1. Mike, Quick solution. Make sure they have the serial number necessary? Go to the program folder and UNINSTALL. Then re-install. That should return everything to default settings. DG
  2. Gary, See PM Dg
  3. Hi Den, "Dynamic" in this context means that you can vary the amount of blur between two Key Frames. You can also vary the Colour dynamically between Key Frames. Try combining Blur and Colour "Dynamically" - you never know - you might start a new trend / genre? DG
  4. Hi Maureen, Superb show - great images - pleasant music. Great use of Full Slide Duration. Another winner! DG
  5. Please take a look at the examples: Black BG Mid Grey BG White BG The Possible (???) Answer: The Rectangle is Mid-Grey DG
  6. New Pages / Articles and Updates added. Press Ctrl+F5 regularly when visiting Online Help. DG
  7. Gary, Forget about still images. add around six blank slides to a project at 12 seconds each. add a video to the BLANK slide one in O and A. make it the MASTER. add (not copy) the same video to the other BLANK slides and link them to the Master name will be the same. when you play that the effect will be a continuous running of the video spread over six slides. no images. you can add those later. Dg
  8. Gary can I re-phrase what you said: "You would continue the linking of the "slave occurances" to match the length of the Video Duration" xxx.converted.avi - is the Master in the first slide and the Slave in all subsequent slides. The "slave" video's are not linked to ANY still images. DG
  9. The Nikon D4s is announced: http://www.europe-ni...rofessional/d4s Only 16.2Mp Only £5,199 DG
  10. Den, What you see is the interaction between the blurred image and the background. If you use a white BG you'll get a light edge instead of the dark edge. Maybe there is a gray which will be suitable?? Igor explained that they use a different blur to the blur that you are used to in your image editor. I usually enlarge the image before adding the blur as per your suggestion. DG
  11. Hi Gary, If you add a video to, for instance, Slide 1 which you want to play over multiple slides you have to make it the MASTER in slide 1 and the "slave" in subsequent slides. In PTE terminology this is done by using the dropdown menu and choosing "Link to xxxxx.converted" The timing is automatically adjusted for the slide 2, 3 etc occurances of the Video and the video plays seamlessly over multiple slides. The video can also be animated over the multiple occurances of the Video Clip. The page is still under construction - I just took a lunchbreak!!!/> DG
  12. Thanks for your comments Carmelo. The Online Help can easily be kept up to date in line with small or large changes which WNSOFT makes to the Programme. It can be done immediately and seamlessly. Regarding Translation - that's something to which Igor needs to answer. The illustrations would need to be re-done to match the Italian Text and Programme interface. DG
  13. Igor, It needs to open in a NEW BROWSER WINDOW (please). DG
  14. Gary, It is SLOW here but it is working. Igor asked me a while ago about the speed and it is not as good as it has been in the past. He spoke about a different server? DG
  15. Gary, F1 from PTE V8 will get you there. Bookmark it? Open in a New Browser Window. You can then have it available alongside both V8 and the Forum if you want. DG
  16. It only "bolds" images added via Drag and Drop or via the Menus. If the images are added via O&A it does not Bold them in the File List. Could that be it? DG
  17. Canico, There is no dfference between V7.5 and V8 as far as D & D of images is concerned???? Just tried both - please explain more? However, V7 to V8 is a little bit more of a jump. The Slide View is for D & D of images - the Timeline View is for D & D of Audio Files. Re the "X" and other tools - go to Settings / Preferences / Tools and turn ALL TOOLS ON! Igor - Please note!! The Online Help - F1 - might help? Choose V8 English. DG
  18. New "How To" articles have been added to the "Techniques and How To" section of the Online Help File. http://docs.picturestoexe.com/en/main Please press Ctrl+F5 to reset your Cache every time you visit the Online Help DG
  19. Thanks again Ken. DG
  20. Thanks Ken, The reference there is to using the USB input of a BluRay Player to play MP4 Files. It does not refer to BluRay Discs. DG
  21. Project Options settings can be saved in a Template. If the Template designated as the Template to "use for new projects" has the feature activated then it is remembered when a new project is created. DG
  22. Agreed. DG
  23. New "How To" articles have been added to the "Techniques and How To" section of the Online Help File. http://docs.picturestoexe.com/en/main DG
  24. Just an observation: I don't disagree with Barry's suggestion!! But for those of us who ALWAYS Convert, is it not easier to do the conversion before dragging into the timeline? That way all of the other little tidying up things like Cropping/Trimming/resizing etc can be done in one operation? You don't then have to worry about the Video Converter Window. JMHO. I still agree with Barry's suggestion. DG.
  25. Don't mention it.....my pleasure. The Online Help is being developed to provide information about the nuts and bolts of the software. At the bottom of the menu is a section called "Techniques and How To". Anyone wishing to write an ilustrated, properly constructed How To is welcome to participate in the project. It is on our "To Do" list. DG
