  1. Hi Mark, Thanks for letting me know. We'll install the latest Beta of macOS Sonoma tomorrow. Can you check the Main menu > Settings > Language menu. What option is selected now? If not English, switch to English. If you don't see "Settings" item in the main menu, it's the 2nd item from the end. And "Language" it should be the 1st item in the Settings menu. If English is already chosen it's related with a font rendering in PTE AV Studio. It also can be a bug in Beta of Sonoma.
  2. Glad that you solved it. If the problem will occur again, please send me a screenshot. Good luck!
  3. Ken, Attach a fullscreen screenshot - PTE and all the desktop space. Did you adjust font size in Windows? Do you observe this issue in both PTE version 10.5 and 11.0? If the problem occurs with V11 only, try to uninstall it and reinstall again from WnSoft website.
  4. Hi Ken, Try the following: In the Main menu > Settings > Preferences. Choose Toolbars tab. Click "Reset" button to make toolbars configuration by default.
  5. Hi, Thanks for the screenshot. Do I understand righty that this problem occurs only in PTE AV Studio on your Mac? Please let me know, if you use any app (utility) which modifies a keyboard behaviour?
  6. Hi Ken, I cannot reproduce this issue with a new project and 2 slides (images) when I choose "Fade" transition. Please check the About window. The latest version is 11.0.8. If not, update PTE AV Studio. If the problem still occur, try to uninstall and then reinstall PTE AV Studio 11 downloaded from WnSoft website.
  7. Hi, Click the "Tools" button menu. And choose "Undo All Changes". It will revert all changes made in current session of the Objects and animation editor for a current slide. This function is not activated by default.
  8. Show missing fonts is a good idea. We consider also another idea - automatically include vectorized text objects in a .pte project to keep original look for text captions, even if a source font is not available on a certain computer.
  9. Hi, Thanks for the screen video! It's very unusual problem and interesting case. Please give us some time to investigate it. 1. Can you send me a screenshot of System Preferences > Keyboard. I need to see your main keyboard options (especially speed/delay for a keyboard input). 2. Do you use any special software app to control keyboard input? P.S. Please keep the YouTube link while we're working on this issue.
  10. Hi Jim, Glad that the problem was solved successfully. You can read more about the Motion Blur option: https://www.pteavstudio.com/forums/topic/21340-motion-blur/
  11. Hi Jim, Make sure that "Motion Blur" option is DISABLED in video output options. It dramatically increased video encoding time, regardless HW option is ON or OFF. You can see this option on the screenshot above. When you enable "Hardware acceleration" option, PTE AV Studio uses hardware video encoder H.264. It should work especially fast for encoding 4K video. Probably on the fastest M1 Ultra chip, video encoding using only CPU (no HW option) will work faster for HD video output. P.S. Tom, thanks for your helpful reply above!
  12. Hi, Thank you for letting us know about this issue. I couldn't reproduce this problem yet. 1. Can you give us more details? Exact model name of your Mac and macOS version. Check About Mac window. 2. Does this problem occur in a new project? Start a new project. Add one image. Open the Styles window. And try to change a text caption. 3. Can you record a screen video with this problem using your smartphone camera? Then you can upload to Youtube or Google Drive, or WeTransfer.com and send us the download link.
  13. Gary, If you don't want to use a solution with a Create backup in a ZIP command, try alternate solution suggested by jt49 above. It will work for you.
  14. Hi Claude, I quickly tested with a simple project. If I tick an option "Do not include file to EXE" for a video clip, the resulting EXE file will be smaller, than with unticked option. If your project contain many video clips (may be half of the project) we recommend to produce a MP4 video. PTE AV Studio creates highly optimized video with a very good visual quality. Untick "Hardware acceleration" for video output to get the best result.
  15. Hi Georges, In the custom "Styles and Transitions" folder I see damaged storage (.ini file) for custom transitions. It contains the same transitions which are included in PTE AV Studio by default and they're broken. Honestly, we have no idea why it might happen for you in PTE AV Studio. If you can repeat this issue from a scratch, please let me know.
  16. Gary, All these music clips can be freely used for YouTube publications without restrictions in certain countries: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary If you need to use a certain rare music clip which may cause copyright issues. You can try to file an appeal on Youtube. My friends from a local small museum published a documentary movie (cultural heritage of a local artist) and they used two music clips which caused restrictions on Youtube. I helped them to file an appeal on YouTube and it was approved within 10 days. However I would recommend to use only copyright free music clips for YouTube using music from my links above.
  17. Rosy, Now there are AI music generators: https://www.google.com/search?q=ai+music+generator
  18. Hi Frans, Both options (quality and bitrate) are available for HD or 4K video output. We recommend to use Quality mode. In default preset it's High/Medium/Low quality options. And in the Custom preset Quality can be adjusted between 20% and 150%.
  19. Hi Gary, Try to publish shows/videos on YouTube and then embedd/link on Facebook. Check our links for royalty-free MP3 music. Thousands tracks in 3 large libraries: https://www.wnsoft.com/en/pte-av-studio/royalty-free-music/ Another option - Vimeo. Also I saw recently a show shared through MS OneDrive - a video can be played on a website, no need to download the file.
  20. Hi Rosemary, Thanks for sending me a screen video with this problem. I see that this slide has zero duration (0) for a transition. It means that any chosen transition will look like a quick transition. Adjust manually a transition duration and check if the problem will occur again. It's possible that certain slide style could set a quick transition intentionally to reach a certain effect and animation.
  21. Hi, I've received your ZIP archive with styles and transitions folder. And now I've reproduced this problem. Thanks! We'll check the code why it happens. I'll write you later.
  22. Rosemary, I cannot reproduce that problem yet with your project. Can you unzip a copy of your project to a new folder. And reproduce that problem. Please give me a step by step instruction how you repeat the problem.
  23. Hi Rosemary, Thanks for your quick response and the file! We'll check it today later.
  24. Thanks. Please check my message. Regrettably I couldn't download the file.
  25. Georges, I'm glad that you've found a personal solution for that problem. Can you send us your original folder "Styles and Transitions" which caused that problem? We need to find a reason of that problem and fix it if other users will face with the same problem. If it possible, please send me a personal message through the forum. You can upload the ZIP file via WeTransfer.com or Google Drive.
