  1. Hi Frans, The new server is located in same location as the old server - Roubaix, France. Not so far from Netherland. Please check again, because I performed backups and might affect to performance. And the forum removed all earlier cached pages. For me the new server works instantly, faster than old one. Also check the PTE Online Help, it's located on same new server: https://docs.pteavstudio.com/en-us/10.0/main#
  2. Hi Dave, We updated the forum software and server yesterday. Delivery of email notifications should be greatly improved. Let me know about results.
  3. Hi, We've moved the forum to a new server and new domain name: https://www.pteavstudio.com/forums/ All existing external links to forum posts will be automatically redirected to the new address. Delivery of emails notifications from the forum should be improved now.

  7. TIFF support added in version 10.0.7.
  8. Hi, In a new version 10.0.7 we introduce two new features: 1. Experimental support for TIFF and WEBP images. TIFF images support: LZW or ZIP compression, 8-bit or 16-bit, layers, alpha transparency, grayscale images. Note: Color profiles, CMYK and JPEG compression in TIFF files are not supported yet. However we recommend to convert TIFF images to JPEG for better speed and reduced EXE file size. 2. Support of video clips with Alpha transparency in RGBA pixel format. Sample video footage with a transparent background: https://www.videvo.net/stock-video-footage/alpha/ Overlay Hearts, Flying Bluebird. Download version 10.0.7: https://files.wnsoft.com/pteavstudio/pteavstudio-setup.exe
  9. Fixed in v10.0.7
  10. PTE AV Studio 10.0.7 is available Dowload: https://files.wnsoft.com/pteavstudio/pteavstudio-setup.exe Or use Auto Update feature: Main menu > Help > Check for Free Updates. Added support for video footage with Alpha transparency in RGBA pixel format. Added experimental support for TIFF and WEBP images. Fixed problem with a wrong playback of interlaced videos (50i) from Nikon camera. Fixed problem with non-working Video builder (DVD) in some cases. Fixed problem when the File tree didn’t show a new connected USB drive. Fixed problem with missing audio in DVD video output if a disc contains two or more shows. Solution: uninstall VideoBuilder from the main menu > Help menu and then reinstall again via the main menu > Publish > DVD-Video.
  11. Try to publish video in AVI format in PTE 10 > Publish button.
  12. Ok, thanks for lEtting ne know.
  13. Marcel, Thanks, I've received a short version. Please tell me in more details how to reproduce this problem? I can hear music in all modes: by Preview button (fullscreen preview), in EXE show, in small window of Mini Player (main window of PTE).
  14. Marcel, Send me this project (all files). Thanks
  15. I am not an English speaking person, but I very easily understand Barry's voice. I think it's important for potential PTE users who live in many countries. Honestly, when I watch US or British movies without translations (or the most terrible case - TV news) I can understand only about 10% of speech P.S. Queen's English
  16. Tom, No worries, I understand your concern about U.S. users. Thanks. I would prefer to keep Barry's voice for PTE 10.
  17. Pascal, Looks very impressive. Thanks
  18. Bruno, Thanks, this TIFF loads fine. Yes. JPEG images load faster. And for JPEG PTE can use a special optimization loading image much faster according screen resolution. Interesting observation. Thanks. But maybe too late? Because video output becomes more popular now.
  19. Jill, Thanks, I confirm this small glitch. We'll fix it soon. If you restart PTE, the File tree will show a connected USB drive.
  20. Thanks, Tom!
  21. Barry, It happens when a slide style require 1 image is being applied to a slide without any main image. PTE generates a virtual image (TextWith Size) which can be replaced later. Some slide styles with text captions don't require any image and this issue will not occur. In future version we will give another name for this missing image to avoid confusion ("Missing image", "No image").
  22. Jean-Marc, Dave, Thanks! Our decoders could open all your TIFF images. We can support TIFF: 1. One or several layers. 2. LZW or ZIP compression. Or no compression. 3. RGB or grayscale images 4. Order of pixels RGBRGB or RRGGBB 5. Format: IBM PC or Macintosh 6. Transparency Not supported in TIFF: - TIFF with JPEG compression - Pages, only 1st page is loaded - Color profiles (need more time to investigate how to extract ICC profiles)
  23. Jean-Marc, I need real TIFF images if you created them earlier.
  24. Hi, Please send me several your TIFF images which you would like to use directly in PTE. Not TIFFs from Internet. If TIFF file is larger than 500 KB, send me a download link. We'll check them with our image decoder.
  25. I'm glad! Thanks for the confirmation.
