  1. Barry, Thanks for your suggestions! Let me think more.
  2. Tom, Gary, Try a new test version: https://files.wnsoft.com/test/pteavstudio-setup.exe Does it work correctly for this case now?
  3. David, Sorry for my late response. Glad that you found the solution. Please tell in more details. Do I understand rightly that you clicked on an audio file in the File list (in the main window) and dragged it into the timeline view?
  4. Tom, Gary, OK, we'll add a warning if a file is locked and PTE can't overwrite it for a new video file.
  5. Gary. Please try to reproduce this problem and give me instruction how to repeat it. Yes, if video encoding didn't start correctly (freezes) the process may stay in system memory with zero CPU loading and will be closed during next restart of Windows.
  6. Neil, I'm glad that you solved this problem! Yes, EXE file cannot be larger than 3.9 GB. Future PTE 11 will warn in case of too large file to help users determine a problem. For large project with heavy video clips, we recommend to consider alternate solution - creation of a MP4 video file.
  7. Hi, Do you create an EXE show and run it on same computer? I recommend to reinstall PTE AV Studio. Please download and install it again from WnSoft website: https://www.wnsoft.com/en/pte-av-studio/download/ Then create an EXE file again. If it still doesn't work, create an EXE file for a simple test project which contains 3-5 images and one MP3 audio track.
  8. Gary, This problem might occur if you chosen a name for a file which already exists and locked (opened in a player). In future version we'll add a special warning for this case to help users understand about reason of this problem.
  9. Hi, No worries, I'm glad that everything is OK now.
  10. Hi, Please send me a personal message with more details. I couldn't find your request, probably you used another email address? Check also spam folder for our reply.
  11. Hi Ron, I'm glad that it worked for you. I plan to check again parameters for 4K video encoding. It will take some time. Try to set "150" quality in Custom mode, it will increase visual quality (and file size).
  12. Gary, Yes
  13. Barry, We think about this.
  14. Ron, Did you try to play iPhone 4K videos on your Samsung TV? I can send you sample files. Also try to use an option Video for mobile devices in the Publish menu of PTE and in Custom mode type 3840 x 2160 pixel resolution. Untick the "Hardware acceleration" option. Start the encoding. Let me know about results.
  15. Tom, We added a fix for future update.
  16. Hi, You can find here info how to remove file association: https://troubleshooter.xyz/wiki/how-to-remove-file-type-associations-in-windows-10/
  17. Hi Paul, Good idea, thanks

  20. Tom, Thanks, we'll fix it.
  21. Ron, Good to hear that you found partial solution. If you have iPhone 8 or newer, try to play recorded 4K 60p video on your TV. I can send you test video files later.
  22. Hi, Many thanks for your comments and wishes! All members of our team which you can see on this photo are working at WnSoft more than 10 years. Paul, Special thanks for your video!
  23. Hi, It's already possible to enter manually larger value, 2048 x 2048 for example. Is it enough, or not?
  24. Ron, 1. Try to set "Medium" quality instead of "High" quality. It will reduce bitrate of video. 2. Just an idea. Try another USB flash drive. Probably your current USB drive is slow? Connect fast USB 3.0 flash drive. 3. I attach a preset for Handbrake video converter. Import it to Hanbrake (main menu > Presets > Import from file) and use to convert 4K video from PTE 10. Then copy to your USB drive for 4K TV. 4K-PTE10.json
  25. Ron, Did you try default settings? Choose a preset "3840 x 2160" from a dropdown list, High quality, 60p. Create a test show from still images. Then try with your real project.
