Jill, Yes, I understand and agree. I also want to add this feature soon. Just we had many internal discussions, how to better implement it. Alternate solution for all existing versions: using of a Mask container and control opacity of a Mask object for all embedded child objects. The most likely it will be an option for any object: "Inherit opacity for child objects".

Thanks, I'll fix it. We'll do it when multiple tracks with slides will be available in future version.

Hi, Sorry for my late response. I admit that not accurate trimming may be caused with certain source video formats and video decoders. In this case we can't fix it, only wait when it will be improved in updated version of video decoders. Did you observe this problem with trimming of MP4 source video files? Any conversion of a video file in PTE means certain loss in quality. I know that some good video converts allows you split/trim original video file without loss in quality, if you keep all original parameters. If even one parameter is changed or set incorrectly, video will be re-encoded completely. Usually I don't care about this problem for my personal tasks, because original video clips have large file size and high bitrate value, so I need to optimize them and also perform some corrections (trimming, etc). For all: Can you help me reproduce this problem using Dropbox download link above?

We plan to add possibility to add inherited opacity for child objects in future version. As an option.

Usually hardware DVD players manufactured at the end of golden age of DVD era can play DVDs recorded in PAL or NTSC standards. Probably first DVD players is locked to a national standard of a certain region. VideoBuilder in PTE automatically detects correct national DVD standard for your country and offer NTSC or PAL. We also recommend to create MP4 video for best picture quality.

Yes, I think it's same issue.

John, Thanks for the details. We'll try to find and fix this issue.

Hi, Thanks for the files. I quickly checked your original video file (VTS_01_1.mp4) and tried to convert it with trimming according your screenshot - 16:56:990 - 17:59:816, new duration = 1:02:826. It was converted correctly. New video is 1:02:826 and file size is 36 MB. I'll check again on my next working day. Can you allow other members check video converting according screenshots in your Word file?

No worries. Just show a video recording with this problem, how you usually reproduce this problem.

Dave, I wrote here about Beta version with one fix. It's not final 10.0.2 version. I'll wait for other changes before publish new update officially.

Hi, Check new v10.0.2 Beta: https://files.wnsoft.com/test/pteavstudio-setup.exe

Thanks, I don't see any video clips in this project. Is that correct? Can you make a screen recording to show this problem? Or if it's difficult to reproduce, just show me how you work in PTE with this project before this problem appears. You can use a smartphone to record a video.

Hi John, Do you use version 10.0 or latest 10.0.1? Please check About window. A similar problem was fixed in v10.0.1.
-
Your drivers are OK. Thanks. If you create reproduce this problem, please send me this MP4 video.
-
PTE 10 depends on quality of graphical drivers. Because the new version very intensively uses GPU acceleration for: - User interface - Rendering of a preview and fullscreen show - Video decoding and encoding In case of any similar problem, I highly recommend to update drivers for your video card.
-
OK, I will wait for a sample video file to check for this issue.
-
Hi, Thanks for your report. Currently, it's first such case. The most likely GPU acceleration for the graphical interface didn't work correctly. What version of Windows and video card in your computer? I recommend to update drivers for your video card. In Windows Update centre, or manually from NVIDIA/AMD/Intel website according your graphics card.
-
Gary, If you can reproduce this problem, send me a sample video.
-
Hi, Can you reproduce any of these problem? If yes, please send us a sample video file and 2 screenshots: a window of video converter with settings and Trim settings window. Usually video converter should work fine with MP4 videos (H.264 format).

OK, I'll check this code.
