Barry, Select a single slide before you paste copied slides. This will tell PTE to insert copied slides at that position. If no slides are selected, or several slides are selected PTE always insert copied slides at the end.

Thanks for checking. It seems that Geforce 720, 770 and 870 are affected. Currently we're trying to find laptops with these NVIDIA graphics to reproduce this problem and find find the solution. We couldn't reproduce this problem on laptops with older NVIDIA graphics (500 series).

Hi Jeff, Objects and animation editor (for a selected slide) accepts only images or video files. Audio files can be in the Project Options > Audio tab. Or in the main window in the Timeline view.

I apologize for this problem. We'll try to reproduce this situation with our laptop. 1. If you have this problem please let me know - model name of your laptop and name of NVIDIA video card. 2. Dave, Thanks, this CT looks interesting. You can improve final animation by adding "Animation Speed: Smooth" for Rotation of 1st keyframe of Slide2 object. It will synchronize their animation, because you use Smooth speed for Pan parameter.

Dave, I thought that should be faster to click into a box and type "0"

Please rename the original video file and try to convert it again. Future version 10.0 will play smooth this video file without any additional optimizations. I just checked how it works.

Barry, What antivirus software you use on this computer? Try to disable it, just to check a work of EXE slideshows. 2. Press Win + R hotkey and type "dxdiag" then press Enter key. Click Save button and send me the exported file. It will contain a technical information about drivers and hardware of your computer (no personal information). Send me a link to the file in a personal message.

Barry, it seems to be a fault of the video card or drivers. We very rarely receive reports about similar problems.

Barry, Does this problem occur with all projects (EXE files) which you create in PicturesToExe 9.0.16? Try to create a new simple slideshow: 3-5 images (1920 x 1080) and one MP3 audio. Will it work? The problem which you described can be caused by several reasons: 1. Incorrect work of drivers of a video card. Solution: update manually drivers of a video card. 2. Incorrect work of antivirus software (false positive). Solution: try to disable antivirus to check if it helps. 3. Use of several "heavy" images on one slide with ultra high resolution. Try to reduce pixel size of images.

Mark, It seems that Crossover still doesn't provide 100% emulation of Windows functions. I already reworked this code for future PTE 10 and output for Mac will work in Crossover.

Juddery Playback of Video on a Laptop - Could this be a solution?

We recommend export to MP4 video if your project contains videos. Future PicturesToExe 10 will solve all issues with playback of videos in EXE files and preview. -

Mark, Thanks. I just tried Crossover on my iMac 21.5". It really works better than old versions and I didn't notice any graphical defects. There are two problems: no support of Retina resolution and difficulties with access to files on Mac. However it can be good temporary solution, while we're working on Mac version.
