  1. Dipping the toes into the world of YouTube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OLusvEY_4YA 720p Available. DG
  2. Tom, That Metadata bar is cool - good idea. DG
  3. Hi Tom, Any images that are NOT indexed will be included in the style and will not be required to be provided when applying the style. However the effect is that the size of the style (Kb) is increased so that needs to be watched. Just (VERY ACCURATELY) knock off the corners of the frame bars at 45 degrees and save as .png files - you only need two. Stroking is advisable otherwise you might not see the actual mitre joint. DG
  4. Hi Tom, Picture frame with Mitred Corners: Mitre_Dec8-2013_16-04-33.zip DG
  5. I can only repeat what has been said above. A superb effort from Igor and the team. It's been a long and eventful Beta Testing and your R & R will be well deserved! Thanks Igor and team. DG
  6. Hi Jack, After re-sizing what would PTE then do with the images? Are you suggesting that PTE would overwrite the originals or create resized copies to use? They have to exist somewhere? I suppose that theoretically Igor could build a module of the old PIXBUILDER into PTE to deal with it - but would he want to? DG
  7. Lin, My MUSIC PC is probably 8-10 years old - going strong and has NEVER had its Windows XP Media Centre Edition OS updated. It has always been off-line. NX2 required that Frame Thingy be updated once or twice when it was being used for Imaging, but that was easy using a USB device as was updating NX2. If required, I could go back to it at any time for Imaging and it has the latest versions necessary for NX2 (and my D600) and PTE. I always figured that if it was running smoothly when it arrived at my workstation and I didn't abuse it by constantly updating it why fix what wasn't broken? I always used MACRIUM REFLECT to make backup images of C Drive but never had to use them. I always used PERFECT DISC to keep it defragged and running smoothly. It will be interesting to see how long it goes on for. Go with it, DG

  9. Hi Maureen, Great overlapping animations - subtle but nice. Dramatic music. All the hallmarks of a Maureen Masterpiece. DG
  10. Gilio, I am definitely worried about you!! B)/> Thanks for sharing though. DG
  11. Lin, My current M/C and the one before it are Off-the-shelf Gaming PCs. The spec is generally what someone doing what you are doing requires. My current PC has a 3Gb card and it's magic. The one it replaced is now my "music" PC and looks like it will last as long as the current one. My next one (if there is one) will have the SSD as a priority along with the best card available at the time and 32Gb or more of RAM. But definitely "off-the-shelf" - I have no complaints. DG

  17. Hi Jan, Sorry - I should have said - use the PAN controls in the animations tab as Peter explained> DG
  18. Click on it in the OBJECTS panel on the right? DG
  19. The only way that will happen is if the White Line is part of the image? Have you been trying the "Adjust Image and Border" window and forgotten about it? In the File menu you will see the option to create a "Backup in ZIP". Put a couple of slides into a project where this problem occurs and try to keep the file size below 2Mb. Post it here so that someone can analyse it for you? DG
  20. Colin, PTE has the function "Publish / Safe ExecutableFile For Internet" which is an EXE in a Zipped Folder. Much better to use that than RAR???? DG
  21. Good man!! DG
  22. Sorry Ken, I thought that you meant that you could burn two ISO files to the same disc. Confused, DG
  23. Do what, Ken? DG
  24. Deekay, If you drag two pte files into your DVD creation project it will include both in the same ISO file. You can only burn one ISO per DVD (I thnk!!). It's wise to then create a Menu. I don't think it matters when you insert the DVD into the tray. I always get the same result either way and use either Roxio or CyberLink to burn the iso. Both work without a hitch. DG
  25. Thanks Tom, It is independent of "mode" and as long as you follow the author's instructions will do exactly what he intended. DG
