  1. Hi, 1. Please download a test show which I created in PicturesToExe 8.0: http://www.wnsoft.com/files/test/TestShow-8011.exe Can you run it on your computer? 2. Try to uninstall PicturesToExe and re-install the program again. Will it help? 3. Try to temporarily de-activate Norton antivirus and create an EXE file in PicturesToExe. Will it work now? 4. If you still have this problem, create an EXE file and upload to Dropbox or Mediafire.com. Give me a download link. I'll check up that file. Thanks in advance,
  2. Hello Hans, I installed Panda Gold on my PC and preview in PicturesToExe works fine. Please try to temporarily de-activate Panda antivirus to check if this program affects to PicturesToExe.
  3. Barry, 1. Please try Ctrl+Shift+ mouse wheel as advised above. 2. I'm afraid it can be done only in future. 3. Do you mean "silence" as virtual audio clip? Or add silence INSIDE existing audio clip?
  4. Barry, I'm glad that this problem was resolved successfuly
  5. Barry, The second problem is strange. If it will occur again, please ask customer to take screenshots or photos from the screen to see what text was entered.
  6. Hi, Try to use Google 2-Step Verification. This system allows to create individual passwords for devices and applications which use Google services. Then create a special password for PicturesToExe. More details: https://www.google.com/landing/2step/
  7. Dave, Thanks!
  8. Hello Denis, Thanks, we'll fix this problem in future version 9.0 and probably in the next update of version 8.0.
  9. Hi, Please try to de-activate your antivirus software (Panda Gold) and try again to run preview in PicturesToExe. We highly recommend to use a free Microsoft Essentials antivirus installed provided by Microsoft. If you prefer advanced antivirus, try a free Avast antivirus, or Norton antivirus. Ken, Thanks, I'll try to test "Superspyware" software with PicturesToExe. Honestly, a lot of antiviruses don't work well and causes problems for other software programs.
  10. Barry, I think that PicturesToExe 8 should not have such problem with antiviruses.
  11. Hi Gogs, You can create a slide style with editable text caption. 1. Add a text object to a slide 2. Click right mouse button to show the popup menu. 3. Choose “Text comment”. 4. Create a slide style. Now the style will have the parameter “Caption”:
  12. John, We slightly reworked "Apply to all slides" function in future version 9.0. And I hope to improve it more.
  13. Thanks for your responses! We'll think how to better implement editor of these template in the new code. Not yet. Shadow is static and doesn't support keyframing. But we plan to rework this code in future.
  14. Hi, We're rewriting code of the Shadow window. Do you create and use your Templates of a shadow? Can we remove this feature? Do you create several templates or you simply need to save only one preset to use it by default? See attached screenshots below:
  15. Dave, Yes, that's fine. Daniel, Of course, this problem will be solved completely in v9.0
  16. Daniel, We fixed this problem. It's a significant change in the code of PicturesToExe and we would prefer to use this fix only in future version 9.0. Because it better to check it during long beta-testing.
  17. Yes. We add keypoints and then adjust duration.
  18. Daniel, Thanks for the sample project! I think that we reproduced this problem. It may happen with any audio clip (sound comment or not). This problem happens when an audio clip contains keypoints of the envelope which are located outside of customized duration. In this case sound is smoothly fading at the end. Normally this problem doesn't occur, because there is no sense to add keypoints of sound volume outside customized audio duration. You can fix this problem for your particular project. However we'll try to fix this problem in the next update(s). Thanks!
  19. Hans, Please let me know: 1. What you see on the screen when you click "Preview" button - the main window of PicturesToExe or black screen? 2. Try to create "Executable show for PC" (in Publish menu) and run the created EXE file. Do you see the launched slideshow? 3. What video card installed in your PC? 4. What antivirus installed at your PC?
  20. Vincent, Do you mean drag'n'drop in the Tree of objects? It will be implemented in future version 9.0.
  21. Hi Vincent, Please tell me in more details.
  22. Daniel, Please can you send me this project (with images and audio files)? Or create a new test project where we can observe this problem.
  23. Gary, The online help page doesn't require login. Visitors can read all articles. Login is required only for administrator and authors who write new articles for the online help.
  24. "Edit file" command works only for files in the File list. And this command is not available for audio clips in the Slide list or the Project options. PicturesToExe locks audio files added to the project. Because the program doesn't load entire audio file and read audio data by small portions during playback. You can only replace audio file. We think that audio editing can be performed within PicturesToExe.
  25. John, Thanks, please see my reply.
