  1. Protestor Falls The Nightcap National Park is a national park situated within the Nightcap Range in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, Australia. The 8,080-hectare (20,000-acre) park was created in April 1983 and is situated 35 kilometres (22 miles) north of Lismore. The park was established following campaigns and blockades against logging at Terania Creek, Grier's Scrub and Mount Nardi between 1979 and 1982. Protestor Falls is on Bat Cave Creek which runs into Terania Creek and where the protestors camped nearby. The national park is classed by the IUCN World Commission on Protected Areas as Category II and is part of the Shield Volcano Group of the World Heritage Site Gondwana Rainforests of Australia inscribed in 1986 and added to the Australian National Heritage List in 2007. Images captured on the mobile and edited is PTE.

  3. Sample of frame blending using dissolve transition. Comparison with single step frame at the end. Taken from an indoor security camera pointed out window towards the sky. It's been overcast and raining so I can't go outside with my camera to capture photos with a better camera. Waiting for the weather to improve. Two Styles. Style 15 fps publish at 30 fps Style 30 fps publish at 60 fps Missing Style 25 fps publish at 50 fps (just modify one of the others to .040 for slide and dissolve time). Thanks, Tom Timelapse Blend 30 fps.ptestyle Timelapse Blend 15 fps.ptestyle

  4. I assume this is because you are using Full Slide Duration. This takes the Time of Slide 1 + the Transition Duration of Slide 2. I always turn this Off as it can get very confusing, especially if you move a Slide's position or change a duration. I never use Slide Styles so can't answer this, sorry. I always do everything manually using O&A If the same thing happens on every Slide it can become very repetitive & boring to watch. If you select multiple Slides & change the Transition type it will also Change the Transition Timing to be the same on all. You will have to change each one individually. Dissolve is the default Transition unless you have changed it. Hope this helps. PTE is a great program & is very powerful. |I hope you continue to enjoy using it. Jill

  5. Thanks Jim and I agree. In this instance, I felt the portrait view showed the water fall area better as the landscape view did not show the grandeur of the falls nor the majesty of the tall trees that had recovered after almost 50 years. I did frame and horizontal but the 16 x 10 portrait on a mobile for me was more impressive. Thanks for commenting.

  6. I agree with Jim, watching images in landscape format on a TV or computer screen makes for a more pleasant viewer experience. Thanks for showing, Bert

  7. Had to watch it twice Once to read the text and then a second time to look at the images. (wish they had been landscape rather than portrait orientation - but maybe I'm old fashioned😊) Looks like a good news story in a nice area. Keep up the good work Mark Jim

  8. For 20 years, my wife and I have been giving art history lectures using PTE. Our dream would have been to be able to control the projection from our laptop, with our notes in a PTE window.

  9. The eastern osprey (Pandion haliaetus cristatus) is a diurnal, fish-eating bird of prey. They live in Oceania at the coastal regions of the Australian continent, the Indonesian islands, New Guinea, and the Philippines. It is usually sedentary and pairs breed at the same nest site, building up a substantial structure on dead trees or limbs. The subspecies inhabits habitats close to coasts and estuaries, which provide opportunities for fishing. The eastern osprey's diet consists mostly of vertebrate fish species. It possesses specialised physical characteristics and exhibits unique behaviour to assist in hunting and catching prey. This bird had a chick in the nest just about here. They usually eat the head and gills first to ensure the fish is dead, and also because this contains the most nutrients for the parents.

  10. Yes, we enjoy hearing their 'screech' as they scan the lagoon waters below for yet another fish. 😎

  11. Very common to see these in our back yard above the lagoon here on the East Coast of the US. 😀

  12. Nice captures of the osprey and fish Mark To be honest not my favourite of your productions. I didn't feel the music fit and for what little progress the osprey made on the fish, the production was quite long. Just one person's opinion.....

  15. Sort the images before importing by Date/Reverse order or Name. Apply the style to the images before or after importing. Publish as a video to view. Many newer cameras have a video timelapse option. Camera shutter speed should be 1/2 capture frame rate to add motion blur. If you capture at 5 second intervals the shutter speed should be 2.5 seconds. Thanks, Tom Update: Sep. 5 2025 Added 15 fps and 24 fps styles. Update Sep. 6, 2025 Added frame blending (dissolve transition) style for smoother video. Blending attempts to add synthetic motion blur but can create ghost images for fast moving objects. I also renamed regular version to quick. Update Sep 10,2025 Frame blending moved to another post in this thread. 17. Found this platypus in a creek not far from home. Been back several times to see it in the wild. The images are from a visit on Monday Sept 8.

  18. NIce little production of a great opportunity. Music worked well. On our two trips Down Under our experience with a platypus was a glimpse of ripples when a platypus barely surfaced in the distance.
